Emerson Pearls was born from the shore—both literally and emotionally. As a mom of three adventurous girls, I found myself searching for kids swimwear that was both functional and beautiful—something they could move in, live in, and grow in.

My daughters spend their summers in motion: diving into waves, chasing the tide, sailing on the bay, and running wild through sand and seaweed. I wanted them to have swimwear that keeps up—not rides up, wears thin, or gets in the way. And when I couldn’t find it, I decided to create it.

The Meaning of a Pearl

While pearls are naturally connected to the ocean, what drew me to the name was something deeper: the process of how a pearl is made.

A pearl begins as something small—an irritant, even—but over time, through layers and pressure, it becomes something strong and beautiful. That transformation takes grit, resilience, and time. And to me, that reflects exactly what childhood is about.

The name "Emerson" wasn’t passed down through family—it was chosen. It felt like the perfect match: rooted in nature, fresh, and strong. It captures the independent spirit I see in my girls and the brand we’re building.
